New Year's Concert of the Modern Sound[s] Orchestra

Under the motto "What do you believe in?" the musicians, led by Henning Klingemann, explore the various facets of the "believable" through music: whether it be eternal love, friendship, peaceful coexistence, the forces of the universe, the magic of music, or belief in oneself. The audience will experience music of different styles from various countries; for example, original compositions for symphonic wind orchestra from Finland and the USA, soundtracks from Norway, video game music from Japan, as well as hits from various musicals. Additionally, the MSO will once again welcome a soloist: Stefan Knaebel, a former member of the MSO and now a trumpeter in the Bundeswehr's military music corps in Berlin. He will perform "Concert Piece No. 2" by Vassily Brandt. Look forward to a varied afternoon or evening with the MSO and take a moment to consider: What do you believe in?
